HIPS – Black – Fiberlogy 0.850g
MORE THAN BASIC
HIPS filament is a backing in both senses of the word: its properties allow it to be used as a base filament and also as a backing for other materials.
Using it for printing will give you a light and good looking print with a matte surface. You can polish it and even cover it with acrylic paint. This allows any model or miniature to look extremely tasteful.
You can also choose to use it as an auxiliary material for prints that have large overhangs or non-standard shapes. Then you just need to dip the print in D-limonene. It will dissolve the HIPS, leaving only the appropriate print.
APPLICATION IN 3D PRINTING:
- SUITS OR ELEMENTS THEREOF: masks, parts of suits, helmets
- MODELLING: models, figures
- PROTOTYPES: durable and light elements
- DECORATIVE ELEMENTS: decorations, hanging elements, lamps
- CONNECTION WITH OTHER FILMS: support for other imprints
