PLA Matte HS is designed for those looking for a matte and aesthetic finish on their prints. The matte surface of this filament hides the layer lines well, further enhancing the appearance of the printed object. PLA Matte HS is easy to print, has excellent first layer adhesion and can be used for printing at speeds up to 500 mm/s.
Recommended print settings
- For best results, print at 205-255°C*.
- You don’t need a heated bed, but we recommend pre-heating your print table to 50-60°C.
- Use a glass bed, PEI sheet, Kapton or blue tape for the build platform with 3Dlac spray or EcoFixy adhesive.
*The ideal temperature may vary when using different printers.

High-speed printing
The ability to print at speeds of up to 500 mm/s allows you to create quickly and efficiently. The print speed does not affect the mechanical properties of the filament and does not alter the matte appearance of the final object.
Less visible layer lines
The PLA Matte HS collection is specifically designed to provide less visibility of layer lines – a common challenge in 3D printing. This feature is particularly useful for applications where aesthetics are paramount. The reduced need for post-processing enables the creation of beautiful architectural models, decorations and prototypes.
Excellent adhesion of the first layer
Adhesion to the print bed is critical as it affects print stability and quality. PLA Matte HS excels in this area as the prints adhere well to the build plate throughout the printing process. This also reduces the need for additional adhesives such as glues, tapes or sprays that can complicate the assembly and cleaning process.
Product storage
We recommend storing the filaments in a cool, dry, enclosed area with a silica pack away from UV light.
