CPE ANTIBAC – Natural – Fiberlogy
Antibacterial thread for effective protection against germs
Fiberlogy CPE ANTIBAC is an innovative antibacterial thread with high mechanical and temperature resistance combined with antimicrobial properties. Given its resistance to high temperatures, it is superior to, for example, PET-G or PCTG filaments, which belong to the same polymer family. It is resistant to temperatures up to 110°C and to the effects of UV rays, chemicals and lipids.
CPE ANTIBAC is odorless as well as BPA, BPS and styrene free. This antibacterial filament owes its properties to silver nanoparticles that guarantee effective protection against germs. Microbiological tests performed show biocidal properties of both the filaments and the 3D prints. Test results confirm the effectiveness in reducing the number of bacteria, including Escherichia coli (by 100%) and Staphylococcus aureus (by 92.4%). The retesting yielded results of 100% and 97%, respectively. Due to its unique properties, Fiberlogy CPE ANTIBAC is applied in footprints exposed to microbial growth, such as plastic items found in public places, laboratory equipment, and clinical accessories.

How is CPE ANTIBAC printed?
The following parameters are only suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to select the appropriate settings for the specific printer and printing conditions.
| Nozzle temperature: | 260-280°C |
| Bed temperature: | 110-120°C |
| Closed chamber : | Not required |
| Fan: | 0-25% |
| Debit: | 95-105% |
| Print speed: | < 100 mm/s |
| Surface: | EcoFixy adhesive, masking tape , PVA adhesive, hair spray |
| Retraction (direct) | 1-2 mm |
| Retraction (bowden) | 4-6 mm |
| Rate of retraction: | 20-45 mm/s |
| Drying conditions: | 60°C / 4 h. |
| Notes: | Due to the strong adhesion to the bed, it is not recommended to print directly on its surface or on glass. This can lead to failure. We recommend that you use masking tape. |
