The 98A flexible filaments are made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and have rubber-like properties. This means that the material is extremely flexible but also very durable. Flexible filaments are commonly used to manufacture household appliances, toys, phone cases, bracelets, automotive parts and medical supplies. If you need something to bend, stretch or compress, this thread should be up to the task.

There are different types of stiffness for the flexible filaments, denoted by numbers from 0 to 100 and letters from A to D. The material becomes harder and harder as the number or letter increases. 98A Shore means the thread is very stiff and can be compared to the stiffness of a shopping trolley wheel.

Disclaimer: If you hear the filament crackle during 3D printing, it means the filament is wet and needs to be dried for better results. Use a drying rack for filaments like the Creality Dry Box.

Print Recommendations:

• For best results, print at 220-240°C.
• The recommended printing table temperature is 80°C.
• Print at a slow speed of 10-30 mm/s.
• Use glass bed, PEI sheet
