PolyMide™ PA612-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced polyamide filament based on a copolymer of PA6 and PA12. Due to its chemical structure, this product has lower moisture sensitivity than PA6/66 and PA6-based materials and better mechanical properties than PA12-based materials. In addition, carbon fiber reinforcement and Warp-free technology increase the dimensional stability of prints produced with this material.
What is the difference between PolyMide™ PA612-CF and PolyMide PA6-CF?
PolyMide™ PA612-CF exhibits greater stiffness and strength in wet conditions compared to PolyMide PA6-CF due to its longer chemical chain. Although both materials absorb moisture, PA612-CF demonstrates minimal reduction in mechanical properties, resulting in better overall performance in wet environments compared to PA6-CF.
Is it safe while placing thePolyMide™ PA612-CF cardboard drying reel in the oven?
Yes, we ensured the dimensional stability of the cardboard by subjecting it to a temperature of 100℃ in the oven. This meticulous drying process ensures that the cardboard will not warp and deform.
