PLA SILK – Magnificent Gold – Spectrum
PLA SILK – Magnificent Gold is a PLA-based additive manufacturing material with color concentrates that impart a satin texture effect to printed elements. The surface satin texture on printed items largely reduces the visibility of the layers on the side surface of the subsequently manufactured products. Using the specially developed pigments, it is possible to retain the classic properties of PLA, i.e. simple and efficient printing, while obtaining very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength. Thus, the material is designed for those who enjoy the simplicity of printing, though want to achieve very high aesthetic properties.

Packaging:
The filament is wound on a clean, transparent spool. Each spool contains information on the material type, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum sealed with a moisture absorber. All product is packaged in the original, foiled PLA SILK – Magnificent Gold packaging.
During production, every 1mm of Spectrum Filament is continuously measured in 2 axes with ±0.8µm accuracy, allowing for a high quality end product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility of online presentation, individually for each spool produced:
- the diameter stroke along the entire length of the reel,
- medium diameter,
- Ovality,
- standard deviation.
