The filament buffer is an accessory that is required in combination with the AMS device. Its function is to provide a buffering action for the filaments. The interface is a 4-pin cable with 3 mm pitch and input terminal, a 6-pin cable with 3 mm pitch and output terminal.

Remark:

To connect multiple AMS devices, you need an AMS Hub instead of a filament buffer.
