The length is great for replacing the extruder with a Bowden (remote) when the existing cable may not be long enough, or when moving the control panel to the outside of the housing.
It has a standard step extruder connector with a 6 pin 2.54mm cable at the end of the step extruder and a 4 pin 2.54mm Dupont connector at the end of the control board.
