Thanks to the attractive way this product looks, Silk filament is the best selling 3D printing material at the moment among 3D filaments. When you print with it, the effect is a lustrous and silky finish to the print that is not only aesthetically beautiful, but also successfully masks the transitions between layers.

For good results you need to print at a temperature of 220-240°C and the worktop should be heated to 80°C. Please note that the temperature range of the printer you are using may vary slightly.

AzureFilm’s Silk Filament – Sky Blue is specifically designed to make it easy to use even for beginners in 3D printing. It is affordable, easy to use and a good material as it has excellent properties and does not shrink when printed.

It also fits well on the workbench. This filament is a material that features an incredible glossy finish and is therefore also used to print all kinds of decorative elements.

Silk filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers including Creality, RepRap and MakerBot, Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

AzureFilm Silk Filament has a net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs), in rolls with an outer diameter of 210 mm, an inner opening of 60 mm and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a pouch that absorbs moisture and allows it to stay fresh. Its thickness is 1.75 mm.
