Description
PolyFlex™ TPU95 is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) based filament specifically designed to work with most desktop 3D printers. It has a Shore hardness of 95A and can be stretched more than 3 times its original length.
Can my printer print PolyFlex™ TPU95?
We recommend that you use a direct drive printer to print PolyFlex™ TPU95. A direct drive printer is a printer where the extruder is mounted on the hot end.
Settings for printing and drying?
- Printing temperature: 210˚C – 230˚C
- Bed temperature: 25˚C – 60˚C
- Print speed: 20 mm/s – 40 mm/s
- Fan: on
Direct drive:
- Retraction distance: 3mm
- Retraction speed: 40 mm/s
- Direct drive:
- Retraction distance: 6 mm
- Retraction speed: 60 mm/s
- Drying settings: 65˚C for 8 hours *(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)
What does 95 mean?
95 refers to the Shore hardness of the material: 95 Shore A.
In 3D printing, the Shore stiffness is only an indication of how flexible the printed part will be. However, it is also important to consider the percentage of fill, number of walls, top/bottom layers and layer height.
