MK8 Heatbreak 1.75mm M6x30mm- full metal
Heatbreak with PTFE tube means PTFE tube inside the metal throat. The advantage of using PTFE tube is that the filament moves smoothly and easily, which is good for PLA filament. But the disadvantage of PTFE tube is the temperature limitation. You can’t set the temperature too high, otherwise the PTFE tubing will melt and stick and make the heater jam.
The Heathbreaker having a full metal coating means that there is no PTFE tube in it. All-metal heatbreak is suitable for higher temperature filaments such as ABS, PETG, nylon with carbon. etc.
