Energy saving

How to remove fingerprints from SuperTack

(The instructions below show how to remove the prints without damaging the coating)

Use the scraper included with the printer to gently lift the print, then carefully peel it off. If the print has stuck too strongly, heat the platen on the heating platform to 50 °C to facilitate removal.

 

Considerations

  • The surface is soft. Be careful when using a scraper to remove printed parts.
  • DO NOT print with TPU filament as this will damage the printing platform.
  • Increasing the temperature of the heating platform improves adhesion. Users should adjust the temperature of the heating platform according to their specific requirements to achieve the most appropriate level of adhesion.
  • Prior to automatic leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the special wiping area of the build platform to completely remove residual material from the nozzle tip. The coating in the specially designed wiping area will gradually wear off over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so there is no need to worry about quality issues.
  • Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack is considered a consumable part that wears out over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. The warranty covers only defective sheets upon delivery.
  • SuperTack provides good adhesion without glue or frequent cleaning. You can clean the surface with water and detergent if heavy soiling occurs. DO NOT use organic solvents (especially acetone) to clean the build platform as this will damage the SuperTack surface.
  • The Bambu PLA Silk material exhibits strong adhesion to the SuperTack build platform, which can damage printed patterns. Therefore, we do not recommend using Bambu PLA Silk material on the SuperTack build platform. For users printing with other manufacturers’ PLA Silk materials, please select the Generic PLA Silk preset in Bambu Studio and evaluate the material compatibility based on the specific conditions.
