The SuperTack coating provides extremely strong adhesion to PLA and PETG filaments, even at lower heating platform temperatures. It improves printing success by eliminating adhesion problems, reducing distortion when printing large objects and working well with poorly shaped surfaces.

The SuperTack coating is durable and retains its adhesive properties even after prolonged use. This results in longer printing plate life, reduced printing costs (less than 20% loss of adhesion after 300 impressions) and reduced carbon emissions.
The test data were obtained using PLA Basic filament and were completed on an A1 3D printer.
Smooth and natural surface
The SuperTack coating gives a smooth and matte texture to the undersurface of the printed object, blending better with other surfaces.

The SuperTack coating requires an extremely low heating platform temperature to ensure that printed objects adhere securely. This means you can save a significant amount of energy during heating, resulting in lower energy bills and, more importantly, contributing to the preservation of our planet.

How to remove fingerprints from SuperTack
(The instructions below show how to remove the prints without damaging the coating)
Use the scraper included with the printer to gently lift the print, then carefully peel it off. If the print has stuck too strongly, heat the platen on the heating platform to 50 °C to facilitate removal.
Considerations
- The surface is soft. Be careful when using a scraper to remove printed parts.
- DO NOT print with TPU filament as this will damage the printing platform.
- Increasing the temperature of the heating platform improves adhesion. Users should adjust the temperature of the heating platform according to their specific requirements to achieve the most appropriate level of adhesion.
- Prior to automatic leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the special wiping area of the build platform to completely remove residual material from the nozzle tip. The coating in the specially designed wiping area will gradually wear off over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so there is no need to worry about quality issues.
- Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack is considered a consumable part that wears out over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. The warranty covers only defective sheets upon delivery.
- SuperTack provides good adhesion without glue or frequent cleaning. You can clean the surface with water and detergent if heavy soiling occurs. DO NOT use organic solvents (especially acetone) to clean the build platform as this will damage the SuperTack surface.
- The Bambu PLA Silk material exhibits strong adhesion to the SuperTack build platform, which can damage printed patterns. Therefore, we do not recommend using Bambu PLA Silk material on the SuperTack build platform. For users printing with other manufacturers’ PLA Silk materials, please select the Generic PLA Silk preset in Bambu Studio and evaluate the material compatibility based on the specific conditions.

Step 1: Place the plate in line with the fixed points on the platform, with the plate name facing you.
Step 2: Lower the plate and secure it to the magnetic platform.
