If you need to dry the filaments in more than one AMS 2 Pro at the same time, you will need to use the official Bambu Lab switch adapter to feed the additional AMS 2 Pro.

If the X1, P1, A1 series printer is used with the AMS 2 Pro and uses the drying function of the AMS 2 Pro, each AMS 2 Pro needs an official Bambu Lab switching adapter to power it.

For the H2D printer:

1. Connect one AMS 2 Pro:

– The AMS 2 Pro can be powered and dried directly from the H2D printer without the need for an additional switching adapter.

2. Connect multiple AMS 2 Pro devices together:

– If the drying function is enabled for multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro needs its own switching adapter.

– Even if only one unit is drying, the power of the system may automatically be reduced, resulting in insufficient drying. The use of a power adapter is recommended to ensure optimum drying performance.

For X1/P1 series printers:

1. Drying function requirement:

– When activating the drying function, a power adapter must be used to ensure sufficient power supply.

2. Connect multiple AMS 2 Pro devices together:

– If the drying function is enabled for multiple devices, each AMS 2 Pro needs its own switching adapter.

3. Use without drying function:

– If the drying function is not used, the switch adapter may not be used.

Notes:

The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with the X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing. The filament drying feature for these older generation machines will be implemented via an OTA update by the end of April.
