ASA – Olive Green – Fiberlogy (made in EU)
Thanks to its resistance to UV rays, high temperatures and humidity, Fiberlogy ASA is the ideal choice for all 3D prints that will be exposed to weather conditions. The high mechanical and thermal resistance (up to 94°C) and the ease of printing make this material a great replacement for ABS.It is particularly popular in the automotive industry and in the production of everyday objects.
ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate), due to its lower shrinkage than ABS, does not require a closed, heated installation space for successful printing. Unlike its predecessor, ASA gives off much less unpleasant odors. Less shrinkage and good anhesion prevent the pattern from curling and cracking and provide high dimensional stability of the print.
The finished pattern made with Fiberlogy ASA can be smoothed by exposure to acetone. The material is suitable for sanding and painting.
Application:
- Car: car and motorcycle parts, accessories, spare parts
- Sports: protective devices, sports accessories, spare parts
- Home and garden: decorations, devices, tools, everyday objects
- Electronics: sensor and microcontroller housing
Characteristics:
- High UV resistance
- High durability
- Colour fastness
- Temperature resistance up to 94 °C.
- Ability to edit the model of the finished model
- Low odour emission compared to ABS
