SILK Filament is a PLA-based material for additive manufacturing with coloured concentrates, which gives a satin texture effect to printed products. The satin texture on the surface of the printed articles largely reduces the visibility of the layers on the side surface of the printed articles. By using a specially developed pigment, it is possible to retain the classic properties of PLA, i.e. simple and efficient printing, while obtaining a very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength. The material is thus designed for those who value easy printing and very high aesthetic properties.
