- Stable printing at high speeds (up to 250 mm/s)
- Easy to use
CHARACTERISTICS
Glossy gloss finish – even at high speeds
Panchroma™ Silk PLA retains its rich, silky sheen even at speeds up to 150 mm/s, eliminating the gloss loss problem inherent in standard Silk PLA filaments when printed quickly.
An excellent choice for fast and detailed projects where vision is key – you get both brilliance and speed without compromising on quality.
Silk PLA+ performance without additional cost
Designed for stronger interlayer adhesion and higher impact resistance, this innovative silk formula gives your prints extra durability over PolyLite Silk PLA (previous formula) without compromising surface finish and at no additional cost.
Ideal for flexi dragons, cosplay accessories and home decor – no need for complicated setups. Just smoother, more robust results from start to finish.
Panchroma™ Silk PLA is in fact Silk PLA+ – an improved version with higher performance and reliability.
Suitable for Print Farm = Fast Mass Printing
Print confidently at speeds up to 250 mm/s while maintaining excellent surface detail. An ideal choice for high-production print farm environments or for enthusiasts who want reliable, good-looking multi-color detail in record time.
Note: At 250 mm/s, the gloss effect will differ from that at 150 mm/s due to printing and cooling dynamics.
- Stable printing at high speed
- Suitable for serial production
- Excellent appearance in multi-coloured models
- Optimal balance between speed and detail
Recyclable spools compatible with AMS
Panchroma™ Silk PLA Filaments are manufactured with a sealed cardboard edge, which provides an environmentally friendly spool that is fully compatible with AMS systems.
- Ecological cardboard spool
- Sealed edge for greater durability
- Full compatibility with AMS
- Reduced plastic waste
Compatible with your favourite 3D printers
Panchroma™ Silk PLA prints seamlessly on most FDM 3D printers without the need for specialized hardware. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker, the material provides reliable adhesion and a clean finish at standard settings – right out of the box.
While standard Silk PLA often clogs, shorts or loses luster at high speeds, our formula eliminates all three problems.
- Easy printing with standard settings
- Reliable feeding without blockage
- Higher durability and interlayer strength
- Preserved gloss finish at higher speeds
- Strict quality control (QA) for consistency in every spool
Enjoy faster printing, a glossy finish and stable results – every time.
PolyLite™ Silk PLA – special effect with glossy finish
PolyLite™ Silk PLA is a popular special-effect PLA filament designed for users who want to create elegant and distinctive patterns without labor-intensive post-processing.
The glossy surface of PolyLite™ Silk PLA allows printing patterns with a silky or metallic effect. It looks great in both single-color prints and multi-color designs combining matte and silk PLA in assembled 3D parts.
Often used for:
- Figures
- Toys
- Decorative patterns and vases
- Personalised trophies and medals
- Brilliant gifts for friends and family
- Accent colour in prefabricated 3D models
- Models with metallic finish
- Cosplay items with glossy or metallic effect
- Models and architectural models
Mechanical characteristics
Compared to PolyLite™ PLA, PolyLite™ Silk PLA has slightly different mechanical properties, including slightly higher impact resistance (Charpy impact X-Y).
Heat resistance
As with other PLA-based filaments, Silk PLA has low heat resistance. It is not recommended for applications that may be exposed to high temperatures.
