Printing tips
- To improve the surface gloss, it is recommended to
reduce the print speed on the outer wall.
Unlike standard PLA Silk, where this can result in less adhesion,
BambuPLA Silk+ features improved bonding between layers and
fully supports this setting. - Although PLA Silk+ is thoroughly dried and vacuumed prior to shipment,
conditions during shipment can affect moisture levels.
We strongly recommend drying immediately after opening and storing
in a sealed silica gel container or in AMS.
Repeat the drying and moisture proofing process prior to any long-term storage. - For best print quality and consistent finish, it is recommended
to dry the filament before use.Drying conditions:
– In oven: 55°C for 8 hours
– On the heating bed of the X1 printer: 65°C – 75°C for 12 hoursAfteruse, store in a dry environment.
