PP- black Fiberlogy
Strength and flexibility
Polypropylene (PP) is one of the most commonly used polymers in industry. Its high flexibility, incredible durability, low weight and resistance to chemicals mean that it has found countless applications from medicine, through the automotive industry to the packaging industry. Fiberlogy PP Filament has harnessed the potential of this incredible material and made its use in 3D printing possible.
Impressive tensile strength makes polypropylene ideal for manufacturing items that require durability while retaining flexibility, such as lockable containers, handles, etc. It has been used successfully in both advanced engineering projects and domestic applications.
Polypropylene is recyclable, so the prints can be separated with other waste and recycled, fully reflecting the spirit of the “zero waste” concept.
APPLICATION IN 3D PRINTING:
- ITEMS FOR DAILY USE: boxes with closures, hangers, handles, clasps, watch straps
- AUTOMOBILE: bumper, bumper, hood
- TOYS: figurines, cars and parts, drones
- KITCHEN PRODUCTS: food containers, dishes
- MEDICINE: test tubes, laboratory vessels
Properties of PP-Black Fiberlogy:
- non-toxic and odourless
- high resistance to chemicals
- resistance to mechanical damage
- very good adhesion between print layers
- suitable for food contact
