Tested to UL 94-2023 V-0, the highest level of flame resistance for 3D printing filaments, Bambu PC FR is designed to prevent or retard flame spread with outstanding self-extinguishing properties. It is ideal for critical applications in electronics, automotive and mechanical engineering.
* UL 94 is a flammability standard for plastics established by Underwriters Laboratories (USA). V-0 – the highest rating under UL 94 V – means that combustion stops within 10 seconds on a vertically positioned specimen, with dripping particles allowed as long as they do not ignite.
Mechanical properties at engineering level
Bambu PC FR is an engineering level material with hardness comparable to PAHT-CF. Its exceptional hardness and strength make it the best choice for structural components and protective casings.
