NYLON PA12+CF15 Filament- Black Fiberlogy
EXCELLENCE IN CARBON TECHNOLOGY
NYLON PA12+CF15 filament-black is another proof of the technical capabilities of PA12 filaments, which are reinforced with 5% and 15% carbon fibers. It is characterized by high thermal resistance and less shrinkage compared to unmodified PA12 nylon.
The application of carbon fibre allows to reduce the weight of the component while maintaining its high structural rigidity.
PA12+ CF has a wide range of applications in industry, including the automotive and engineering sectors, lending itself to the creation of advanced prototypes, drones and end products that require increased durability while reducing weight.
APPLICATIONS:
- Prototypes: automotive parts, drones, mechanical components with high durability
- Substitutes for metal elements
- End-use products, parts design and tool manufacturing based on 3D printing
PROPERTIES of NYLON PA12+CF15 filament – black :
- twice the tensile strength of PA12 nylon
- more than twice the stiffness of Nylon PA12
- higher thermal resistance compared to unmodified Nylon PA12 (up to 160°C)
- high chemical resistance
HOW TO PRINT:
The following parameters are only suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to select the appropriate settings for a specific printer and printing conditions.
- Nozzle temperature 255-270°C
- Bed temperature 90-110°C
- No closed chamber required
- Fan 0-10%
- Flow rate 95-105%
- Print speed 35-60 mm/s
- Surface glass, masking tape
- Retraction (direct) 2-3 mm
- Withdrawal (Bowden) 4-6 mm
- Retraction speed 20-45 mm/s
- Drying conditions 80°C / 4h
- Notes The material has highly abrasive properties. We recommend the use of hardened steel or ruby nozzles.
- Wear gloves (possibility of microdamage to skin). Use a dust mask and protective goggles when handling.
