ASA filament – natural ( filament ) of the Slovenian manufacturer AzureFilm with a net weight of 1 kg (2,2 lbs) in rolls with an outer diameter of 210 mm, an inner opening of 60 mm and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed in a pouch that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to stay fresh and ready for use. The thread diameter is 1.75 mm and is produced in more than 30 different shades.
ASA Filament is made for open 3D printers that cannot print with ABS Filament. ASA Filament is stiffer, stronger, more flexible and UV resistant. It is mainly designed for professional use.
It is most often used for the production of prototypes that must withstand higher temperatures. Finished products made with ASA are very durable and impact resistant.
For good results you should print at a temperature of 240-260°C.
AzureFilm ASA’s filament works perfectly on Creality, Flashforge, Geetech, Prusa and similar printers. For printing with ABS filament, we recommend that the printer be closed and the table heated to 100-120°C.
Please note that the print temperature range may vary slightly depending on the use of other printers.
