98A – Blue – AzureFilm 300g
TPU filaments are essentially plastics with rubber properties, making them extremely flexible and durable. These flexible filaments are commonly used to manufacture household appliances, toys, phone cases, wearables such as bracelets, automotive parts and medical supplies. If you need something to bend, stretch or compress, this TPU 3D printer filament should be up to the task.
Compared to regular TPU, the AzureFilms TPU filament is slightly stiffer, which is a good feature in the 3D printing industry because it means it’s easier to print. It’s also a bit more durable and can better retain its elasticity in the cold. The abrasion resistance of TPU filament is 20% better than ABS filament and 68% better than PLA filament.
AzureFilms TPU is extremely easy to feed into your 3D printer; we offer 2 different hardness types 85A and 98A. If you have a direct-drive extruder, you can print both types of flexible filament, but if your 3D printer has a Bowden tube, you will need to use a very specific fine-tuning. Printers with a Bowden tube tend to jam while printing any TPU filament. If you have a Bowden tube, we suggest using a flexible 98A shore filament (the filament is slightly stiffer than 85A shore, which makes it easier to print).
WARNING:
If you hear filament crossing during 3D printing, it means the filament is wet and needs to be dried for good results. Use a filament dryer like the Creality Dry box.
