Titanium extruder
The titanium extruder gives you performance, power, boost. The titanium extruder offers powerful, lightweight extrusion. The extruder can be mounted on most RepRap 3D printers to improve extrusion and works well with all E3D hotends.
Precision machined gear
Specially manufactured drive gear teeth for good retention of your filament.
Push force of the filaments
Thanks to the 3:1 gear ratio, strength and control of Titan extruders, you can print everything from flexible filaments to abrasive carbon filaments.
Low weight
The extruder’s low weight and compact design help your printer run effortlessly and reliably.
Titan: the next generation extruder for your 3D printer!
Performance
With 3:1 reduction, precision milled drive gear and E3D technology, the extruder is designed to feed filament effortlessly, yet is incredibly lightweight and compact.
Power
The gear ratio means you can use lighter motors as you need less torque with the same power.
Push
The Titan extruder fits perfectly into the modular E3D ecosystem. It works with all Bowden configurations and direct extrusion with 1.75 mm diameter filament. To change the filament diameter, only the filament guide needs to be changed (1.75 mm. guide included). To use the Titan as a Bowden extruder, simply insert the Bowden adapter into the extruder body instead of the hotend.
Resolution
Direct-drive extruders can have issues with uneven motion, as the lower resolution of the filament motion causes extrusion to pulse. This results in a slightly wavy surface that is particularly noticeable when printing thin layers. The 3:1 transmission triples the resolution of the system and allows uniform printing at the lowest layer height with the smallest nozzle.
