PolyLite – Galactic Black – PolyMaker
Description
PolyLite™ PLA is a high quality PLA designed for reliability and ease of printing.
What is Jam-Free technology?
Polymaker’s Jam-Free™ technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140˚C.
This prevents any clogging issues due to the heat creep problem at the hot end.
Thermal creep is a process in which heat spreads unevenly throughout the hot end, softens the filament before it enters the melting chamber, and clogs the filament, causing it to expand at the cold end.
Increasing the heat resistance of the filament from 60˚C to 140˚C ensures a jam-free experience.
(Note that the printed part will have the same heat resistance as regular PLA: ~60˚C)

How strong is PolyLite™ PLA?
PolyLite PLA is based on high molecular weight PLA from Natureworks, making it one of the stiffest PLA materials on the market.
You can check the Young’s modulus and flexural strength data of PolyLite PLA in its TDS, which represent its stiffness, and compare it to other materials in our portfolio.
