PC/ABS Filament – Black – AzureFilm (made in EU)
The PC-ABS filament is a blend of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS). It is very popular due to its high mechanical characteristics, lightness and life expectancy. This filament is ideal for applications in the automotive, electronics and telecommunications industries. Azurefilm PC ABS combines the strength and heat resistance of polycarbonate and the elasticity of ABS. It has excellent temperature resistance up to 100°C and also offers excellent strength, toughness, chemical resistance against alcohols, oils, greases, ozone and water while exhibiting a smooth surface. We recommend printing it in a heated chamber (closed 3d printer). As it is part ABS, you must maintain a stable environment (room temperature 20-25˚C) and be sure to ventilate the room after printing.
To get good results, you need to print it in a closed 3D printer at 260-280˚C, and the print table needs to be heated to 90-110˚C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may vary slightly depending on the use of other printers.
Pros: Flexible, strong, durable, heat resistant, overall excellent mechanical performance
Cons: Susceptible to moisture, you need a printer with a camera
