PET-G V0 – Black – high temperature PET-G – black – Fiberlogy – 850g.
Flame resistant PET-G filament
PET-G is the happy medium between ease of printing and durability of the finished model. This is why this type of 3D printing filament has become very popular. Materials such as Fiberlogy EASY PET-G or ESD PET-G are perfect examples of this.
PET-G V0 expands the range of FDM/FFF printing materials in the Fiberlogy portfolio. It is part of the FR (Flame Retardant) family of filaments. It is characterized by non-flammability in accordance with the UL94 V0* standard. Both the filament and the parts made from it are not susceptible to direct ignition. PET-G V0 is self-extinguishing on contact in less than 10 seconds. It is therefore ideal for the manufacture of housings for electronics or mechanical components of vehicles and machinery.
Despite its properties, PET-G V0 is still as easy to print as traditional PET-G. It does not require a closed printer or a hardened nozzle. However, please remember that for the highest quality parts it is worth making sure that the filament is well dried before printing. PET-G V0, like other copolyesters, is highly hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the environment. Parts made from wet filament can be fragile and unaesthetic.
*The product is not certified by Underwriters Laboratories and does not have a UL number.
