E3D is proud to be the only officially approved spare parts manufacturer for Bambu Lab’s HotEnds! These ObXidian high-flow HotEnds have been developed in collaboration with Bambu Lab, offering you one of the most compact, lightweight and, more importantly, high performance HotEnds to date.

High Flow. There’s no denying that Bambu Lab’s X1 and P1 series printers are built for speed. However, the motion system, as remarkable as it is, has the potential to be even better. This is where the E3D High Flow technology comes in. Using our in-house nozzle modification, we were able to increase the HotEnd’s volumetric flow rate by 60%! This means you can expect more reliable and consistent extrusion at the same speeds or to increase the volumetric flow rate limit in the cutting tool to fully utilize the capabilities of the motion systems.

Smooth and firm. We put our E3DLC™ coating on the nozzle and heater parts, adding even more abrasion resistance for all your fiber fun and a non-stick protective layer to prevent plastic build-up on the nozzle.

Improved layer adhesion. High-speed printing often sacrifices visual and functional aspects in favor of speed, but these hotends maintain the strength of interlayer adhesion even at higher speeds; the result is proper filament coverage and strong parts for functional applications. No compromise. All of these new additions come in the same form factor as your standard Bambu. They simply snap into place without the need to adjust the mounting or cooling of the parts. Complete the upgrade in less than 5 minutes with our video installation guide.

Compatibility. These kits are available in two different versions with matching connectors for the X1 and P1 series printers.

Please note:

• X1 and P1 E3D Bambu Lab ObXidian High Flow Hotends are not compatible with the X1E printer.
• The ObXidian™ coated nozzles are extremely wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Advancements in ‘exotic’ engineered filaments mean that some new materials that incorporate aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s PolyMide range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF), can cause significant wear even on ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialised solutions for these materials. In the meantime, please keep in mind that even the arcs and unicorns in your ObXidian nozzle are not forever under extreme material handling conditions.
